Starring: Thor as Simba and Loki as Zazu

Did they use some sort of CGI to make Chris Hemsworth look bigger? I’m pretty sure he wasn’t that big when he was Kim. My Mum, after watching The Avengers

I just saw The Avengers and learnt two things

*No Spoilers*

1. That S.H.I.E.L.D. now has The Valiant — looks like they’ve borrowed it off UNIT.

2. That they sell AussieBums in America. Huh. Did not know that.

“Find her, bring her to me,” the Queen spoke, her voice deceptively light, and yet Eric could trace the desperation in it.
She wanted the girl dead, not out of spite, or out of malice, but because she needed the girl dead.
The Huntsman stood his ground, all the Queen’s men and all the Queen’s horses could not instil fear in him.
“And if I refuse?” his tone remained casual; void of any emotion.
“Do you know Huntsman,” a pause here, the Queen wanting every bit of silence to bite through him like fear, “what happens to men who tread the path that ventures against royalty?”
The huntsman stood proud as ever, a smirk beginning to grace his lips, his very demeanour throwing off waves of rebellion.  The Queen stood from her throne and descended one step.
She was not sharing the same ground as him, instead she was on the last step of her throne.   She stood tall before the barbaric huntsman, and replied, “Death.”
The spears came around him and barricaded him at once.  His smirk fell and in its place was a stony grimace.  Eric’s angry gaze burned into one of the men whose spear was pushed against his lower rib.  The man shook, his eyes not meeting Eric’s, but he stood stalk still.  T’was better to swallow his pride and fear the man before him, than to act in rebellion of the Queen.
“Now, you will find me the girl and you will bring her to me,” the Queen spoke again, with a siren voice that Eric swore could have only been found in the vivid dreams of men.
With that the Queen walked off her throne, past Eric, and into the dark corridors of her castle.  The spears fell, the men having resumed their neutral stance, and Eric walked out of the room with one haunting thought.
Why does the Queen want this girl dead?

Release date for The Avengers in Australia

Just saw a massive billboard on William St, Sydney, saying that the release date is going to be 25th April. Now, most people would be thrilled that we get an early release date - this is an uncommon occurrence - but I’m just focused that it’s on ANZAC Day. I usually take ANZAC Day quite seriously for various reasons and I just find it a bit odd. Also, it’s a Wednesday, when our films are released on Thursdays.

Probably means absolutely nothing and no-one else will really care, but I’m just wondering about all that - and maybe I need glasses.

But it’s a massive billboard in the CBD … billboards never lie.

Don’t care what anyone else thinks.

  • Snow White and the Huntsman look amazing.
  • Kristen Stewart is beautiful.
  • Chris Hemsworth is bamf.
  • Charlize Theron is stunning.
  • This is a film worth waiting for.
